Frequently Asked Questions

What is PushPod?

PushPod allows you to create personal podcast streams from your audio and video files stored in your cloud storage (Dropbox, OneDrive or Nextcloud).

How does it work?

  1. Connect your cloud storage accounts.
  2. Create folders in your PushPod directory; each folder becomes a podcast.
  3. Add your audio/video files to these folders.
  4. Use the generated RSS feed URL in your podcast player.

What cloud storage services do you support?

PushPod supports Dropbox, OneDrive and Nextcloud (beta), and you can connect multiple accounts of each.

Can I share my private feed with specific people?

Yes. Every feed is private by default — you share the unlisted URL with whoever you choose. With Audience Management, each listener gets their own access key and personal RSS link, so you can track who is listening and revoke any individual's access without affecting the rest.

How many audience members can I have?

Free includes 1 audience member per podcast, Personal includes 3, and Business includes unlimited. Each member gets their own private RSS link — no PushPod account required for listeners.

How does billing work?

Both paid plans are simple annual payments — Personal $20/year, Business $60/year. No monthly billing, nothing extra to keep track of. You can manage your subscription, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal.

What happens if I downgrade my plan?

If you downgrade to a tier with lower limits, your "extra" podcasts will be temporarily deactivated (hidden from your feed) but not deleted. You can re-activate them by upgrading again or removing other podcasts to stay within your new limit.

I previously paid for "Full Access". What happens to my account?

Existing paid and grandfathered users are automatically migrated to our Personal tier for life! You will keep all your existing perks without any recurring fees.
